I am an independent consultant providing custom software development and associated services with more than 22 years of experience designing, implementing, and shipping commercial software. I am available to work on a full range of software projects from quick 'one off' applications to architecture to team lead in constructing enterprise services.

I am proficient in all aspects of software creation including client requirements gathering, object modeling, user interface design, implementation, testing and deployment. I thrive on challenge and enjoy finding clean solutions to seemingly impossible problems by translating client ideas into smooth, concise and robust software. My Caltech physics degree has proven invaluable in designing correct and efficient software. I'm experienced in UNIX/Linux, Win95/NT/XP, MacOS/X environments and have worked with a plethora of languages and development tools. The projects I've worked on range from best selling video games to scientific simulation software to client and server side applications.

I also provide clients with forensic consulting services, including software review against patent claims, review of laboratory tests and procedures, and review of physics methodology in accident reconstruction.
